To advance teaching, learning, research, and discovery for students, faculty and non- teaching staff by offering collections in multiple formats, providing access to information worldwide and rendering services and establishing learning environments responsive to users' needs.

Shri Sangameshwar Arts and Commerce College envisions itself as a part of the vision of A.P.J Abdul Kalam of a strong and united India-2020. It believes in the motto “Self-knowledge leads to sainthood” and works hard to help its students have a secure future with prosperous job prospects. It symbolizes to carry the burden to provide the best education to the future leaders of the country. It is a learning hub that resolves to provide quality education blended with requisite professional ethics and work culture.

Shri Sangameshwar College Library and Information Center is established in the year 1973, with One course i.e Arts and in 1979 Commerce Course is Added. Now our college is enlarged with  BA,B.COM,B.Sc, BCA, BSW (5UG) and M.COM & MSW (2 PG) courses. Our College Library is well equipped with all resources like Books, Journals, Magazines, News papers, Back Volumes, E-journals. Digitalization library of Current awareness service.
       
  Our college library is physically attached with the college main building, library building is designed and built up with all basic facilities. Library and information center is having totally 26793 Volumes of Books and 13493 Titles and 25 National Journals and International Journals. and The library is connected with the BSNL Internet leased line.
The Knowledge & Learning Resource Centre acts a Resource Centre for the college and renders information services to its users. The collection development policy of the centre envisages the Resource Management of the institute. The centre is builds resources in areas of Arts, Commerce, Social Work and Computer Application as a core area, in different formats to tune with institutional needs.
